Making Tail Wraps
I'm often asked to re-wire old fishing lures for friends and invariably they tell me "I'd do it myself, but I just don't know how to make the tail loop or wrap"
It's really not that difficult and with a little practice, you can wire up new plugs you built yourself or old favorites that you just don't want to retire just as well as the pros.
Pre formed wire is available at several places that sell plug building supplies, or you can go to your local welding shop and buy enough stainless steel welding wire to last a lifetime if your just re-wiring old plugs, all for about $20.00 (Of course you'll have to bend the nose loop if you go that rout but that's another tutorial!
